Glorious Weather In The North East

We decided to have a day visiting Rebecca Menzies yard this morning followed by an afternoon at Sedgefield Races. Breath of Fresh Air Racing never had any runners today but the seven of us that had a day out really enjoyed ourselves.

So after our normal brew in the Howe Hills office - the hub of the training yard we wandered up to the gallops where You Name Him was doing some more work. Once more the Head Lass at the yard rode him out as she gets on really well with him. He did a steady piece of work up and down the gallops with a young flat horse in front of him - he went the pace fine!

After his bit of work he posed around for a bit taking in the Durham countryside, allowing us to take some photos.

We had great fun watching him and then we witnessed Nathan Moscrop schooling a young horse over some poles for the first time - which was interesting and amusing but he got him used to them in the end. Then it was time for "Oscar" to have his shower before heading back to his box for some chill time.

So after a great morning we all went along to Sedgefield - gave out plenty of BofA flyers, chatted to loads of people and backed a few winners between us.
